Rachel Schubert joined the Capitol Partners team in August 2022, serving as the firm’s Manager of Government Relations.

Rachel began her career as a 2021 Ohio Legislative Service Commission Fellow placed in the Majority Caucus of the Ohio Senate, and assigned to the offices of Senators Bob Peterson, Mark Romanchuk, Matt Dolan, and Robert McColley. Most recently, Rachel served as the Senior Legislative Aide to Senator Bob Peterson. As both a fellow and Senior Legislative Aide, Rachel gained valuable experience working directly on the state’s capital budget, overseeing office staff, clerking the Senate General Government Budget Committee, and researching legislative priorities.
